Biography
It was from a very young age that Libert:E's love for dance music started. He grew up listening to his father's records which included many titles from Kraftwerk, Ultravox and Peter Gabriel as well as other artists of the 1980's that embraced the new era of electronic music. From there, he began to buy his own tapes and CD's and would listen to the likes of The Prodigy, The Shamen, 2 Unlimited and later to trance artists such as Sash, ATB and Faithless.

Libert:E started DJing at the turn of the millenium when he decided that clubbing alone just wouldn't cut it for him anymore - he wanted to be more involved. So, armed with a steely determination, a small bag of records and a passion for the music he would play, he set about buying the necessary equipment and started learning his craft.
Although he initially played Drum 'n' Bass & UK Garage and possesses a wide selection of other music (Funky House, Old Skool, Hardcore), these days Libert:E mainly plays Hard House and Hard Trance. He has played a variety of venues across the country such as Inigo in Clapham, George IV in Brixton and the Winter Gardens in Blackpool and for various promotions such as hUJe and charity event revelation/revelnation, which Libert:E himself promoted and ran. In September 2004 internet radio station, love2radio.com came calling for Libert:E's services where for around 7 months he broadcast his weekly show, Libert:E's Brekkie Beats across the globe.
Below is a low-res video clip of one such event when Libert:E played at Open Decks @ George IV:
Libert:E recently secured his first club residency when he not so long ago moved to Gloucestershire. Heading up Saturday Night at the Lockies @ The Lock Keepers Bar, Stroud, he has brought his eclectic mix of uptempo, uplifting music to the people of South West England.
